Asha Bhavan Centre runs a Special School under the Deendayal Disabled Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS), funded by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, providing educational and therapeutic support to 60 children with disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Multiple Disabilities, Muscular Dystrophy, Deaf blindness, and others.
The school is managed by a team of qualified special educators and therapists who work collaboratively to promote each child’s cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development. A customized curriculum is implemented to meet the diverse academic, therapeutic, and pre-vocational needs of the students, enabling them to develop essential life skills and prepare for future independence.
Through a structured, inclusive, and nurturing environment, the school focuses on building self-confidence, functional abilities, and social adaptability, ensuring that every child receives the necessary guidance and care to achieve their fullest potential and actively participate in community life.
